Uk spouse visa application 28 day rule for payslips and bank statements

Post by SafAl » Tue Dec 17, 2019 10:30 pm

Hello everyone, I’m wondering if someone could help me out. Bit of background about me. I’m a UK national and married to my husband who is Pakistani national, we also have a baby that is also British national.
I had arranged all the documents and payslips etc and sent it over to my husband in Pakistan for him to submit from there. I sent these documents mid October. We wanted to submit the application straight away, however we realised had missed out the property survey report. Once the property survey report was done (which took a long time because we had an issue with the fire alarm at my house and we thought that needed to be fixed before we could get the survey report done, turns out that wasn’t necessary) there was no one to take that document so I went to Pakistan myself for 2 weeks and took it there. We submitted the online application on the 3rd December. We then scanned all the documents ourselves and submitted everything online.
Problem is that I wasn’t aware of the 28 day rule until today as I was just checking on google how long it takes to get a biometric appointment and stumbled upon this 28 day rule for payslips and statements on this website. Now I’m not sure what to do next. My husband tried to login on the vsf website to see if he can submit any further documents but turns out he can’t. And I don’t think he can submit further documents in his biometric appointment either. Now do I wait for them to make a decision or can I send them the latest payslips and statements by other means. Would really appreciate if someone could help.

He is still waiting for his biometric appointment. They have told him he can walk in as well if he pays extra which is what we were going to do until I found out about this issue.

You can still handle this matter. Take the remaining documents such as October & November payslips, bank statements and employer letter dated until 3rd December to vfs centre and ask them to scan & add them with other pre-uploaded documents.
