Spouse visa

Hi,

My partner and i have been together and lived together for over 4 years but spent 4 months apart in the last 2 years because his visa expired and had to go back to the UK and i was in the process of saving to get my tier 4 visa. I am in the uk Now and have been for almost 2 years, the other 2 years we were living together in Australia. We are in the process of applying for the spouse visa but we don’t have evidence for the 1st 4 months because we weren’t living at the same address can we use evidence from Australia prior to the 4 months apart to be included in the 2 years of addresses?

Are you applying for a spouse visa as the topic title suggests, or an Unmarried Partner visa?

If you are a married couple then you dont need to supply 2 years of cohabitation evidences for initial spouse visa.
