EU Settlement Scheme for EFM?

Post by hrak1978 » Sun Feb 16, 2020 3:44 pm

According to @Zerubbabel

any EEA national can bring to the UK automatically all close family which he advised that is what law says

Spouse
- Children
- All his children
- All his grand children if any
- All grand children of his spouse if any
- His parents
- The parents of his spouse

If he is allowed to bring all his children and his grand children then how about the mother (daughter in law) of grand children? Can he bring her to UK as well?

Can any seniors or anyone advised on this.

Hello

It's was about the EEA Family Member application but the EU Settlement Scheme mimics that too.

You will find the list of eligible persons here:

Mind the last line: anyone not in that list has to qualify as Extended Family Member.

There was a degree of sarcasm in the use of "automatically".

So to respond to your question:

- The grand children would qualify as EEA FM
- Their mother would qualify as EEA EFM

@Zerubbabel

Thank you for your reply.

One question again please guide me for that.

1. The grand children would qualify as EEA FM
2. Their mother would qualify as EEA EFM (How she can apply through legit way EEA FP or EUSS FP?)

Please advise.
