Early FLR (FP) visa extension

Hi,

Is it possible to get early FLR (FP) visa extension, like 5 /6 months in advance before the visa expires?

Little background is; I am a British citizen and have British children, my wife is on FLR (FP) visa for 10 years route to settlement. This will be her 3rd FLR (FP) visa.

She need a year to cover her 10 years stay in UK so getting extension now or later will make no difference.

Before planning for ILR under 10 years of route you have to be known that whether her long residence is still maintained which could have only possible if she kept renewing her visas in timely and also kept meeting the relevant conditions of all previously granted visas while never be absent from UK for more than 180 days. Usually the visa fees increases almost every year from April which is too far and also Brexit wont have any affect on UK immigration system, therefore, renewing flrfp very close to its expiry will be more wise.

There's nothing prohibiting you from applying early there just generally isn't a good reason to do so.

Pardon my Ignorance!

I am not familiar with this new online application system, especially how we will submit documents online for my wife 3rd FLR FP visa extension.

Most of our bills and bank statements (joint name / separate) are paperless. So do I have to print and attest them by banks etc and then scan and upload them back during visa application? Or UKVCAS / HomeOffice will accept these paperless documents without anything, as it is? If so what format is required like PDF, JPEG etc ?

These formats are acceptable ones and all documents can be uploaded without printing provided sized up till 6 MB.

Though English test is not required for this extension, however there is section in the application form which asks about it and her ILR (LR) due in the mid of next year too. Therefore we decide to take English language test B1 to meet extension + ILR + Naturalisation.

So is it ok taking B1 now instead of A1,A2 (B1 is higher than A1, A2). As B1 is not required at this stage.

If you decide to yes the B1 will satisfy a part of requirements for ILR down the line. Do note that there is also LIUK test requirement for ILR.

That test might not be accepted then due to being expired and wasn't used previously in the grant of leave because it actually isn't needed.

Also if 10 years based ILR then the test would only be accepted if the centre and type of test will be on list on the date of application means paragraph 32d won't be came into played

Her ILR is due in July 2021
This test has 2 years validity , means 09 Aug 2022

And of course I have booked the test which is in the list of approved test centres in the UK from 19 June 2020

Yes got your point, but too late already booked the test for 10 Aug. And hoping it will be on the list otherwise ll do it again.
