There has never been such a precise rule. Children under 18 can apply when one parent is British (not step parent) and the other holds ilr.I remember reading years ago that a dependent minor would be eligible for citizenship when they turned 18. She does so in a few months.
Nothing has changed for years for citizenship. You must have misread or misunderstood what you read previously. Is this the case or did I imagine it, or has it been changed? If it is possible, what is the correct form? Or will she have to wait the 3 years?
Children under 18 apply as minors not an adult. If she turns 18 during the process, ho will ask for ceremony fee to be as she will have to attend a ceremony if approved once she is 18. The same rule applies, she can only apply as under 18 if her mother applies. So can i assume adult rules apply?
Teenager children under 18 require ilr and a minimum of 2 years residence.Current guidance says 3 years does it not?
Yes.
No.
