MN1 online Application - Expired Passport

Hi All

I recently got my ILR and I now I am trying to apply for my Children's naturalisation.

My Children's Passports are expired they don't have a valid BRP either.

For the following questions, I answered as below.

Do you have a valid passport?

No

Provide the reason:

following reason provided about expired passport (The Passport No. (Issuing Authority: ) Issued on: which was expired on . (Scanned copy can be provided)).

Are you able to provide details of your passport using a copy of the information?

No Was this related to valid passport?

Do you have the details of your most recent expired passport?

Yes /* and provided all details in the relevant fields/*

Are you able to supply this document if required?

Yes.

My question is that it's asking me this question now,

QUESTION: Explain why you are unable to provide a valid form of identification.
Proof of identity is usually required to make a valid application. You cannot use a national identity card to prove your identity for this application.

whereas I opted to supply expired passport

What should I answer? Please Advise

Just answer that you have provided the details of the expired passport as in above

....and that the passport (as answered) will be supplied.

When you finish the application it will be listed with the documents you'll be required to submit
