Correspondence degree should not cause any problem. To be on the safer side, you can get a letter of comparability from Naric.

Applying for Tier 1 is not a seasonal affair so you can apply in any month.

naric

the naric website says they only evaluate courses which are of atleast 200 hrs of training, now since mine is a correspondance course, they wil not evaluate it. So how do i go about this ? if i dont get a letter of comparibility from naric, do u think my application wil be rejected ? though my degree clearly states that it is from the university of mumbai which is very much on the naric database, but it also says institute of distant education.... the course is the same as a normal masters course only difference is that i did not attend normal college...should i highlight this fact in a covering letter ?

I have also done my graduation from University of Mumbai distance education institute. I got the Letter of comparibility without any issue.
