Hi, this link is only for those settled under EU scheme. It is not my case. I was PBS dependant.Zimba wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 2:57 pmThe BRP is the official proof of your settled status. You can use this link too: https://www.gov.uk/view-prove-immigration-status
Settled status (ILR) under the UK immigration rules can be achieved under all sort of routes. Migrants under the EU settlement scheme also get ILR (just like you did). Therefore the specific route under which you managed to get your settled status (ILR) is totally irrelevant. The fact that you were a PBS dependant is irrelevantnathybes wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 4:28 pmHi, this link is only for those settled under EU scheme. It is not my case. I understand that, however, as I have not got my ILR under EU scheme, my BRP number is not recognised on the link you've sent to me.Zimba wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 5:00 pmSettled status (ILR) under the UK immigration rules can be achieved under all sort of routes. Have you looked to see if you can have low income welfare benefits, which Universal Credit is? You only got your ILR last month and doesn't Tier 2 General have a minimum income for ILR?nathybes wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 11:09 amHi, I’ve got my ILR and am applying for UC. I am entitled to. However, my case worker is asking for a proof of I am settled and he is keeping sending me the EU pre/settlement link to share the code of my right here. I explained him that I have ILR, and I get the code through right to work link and he is not getting it yet.
Does anyone have a clue how I can show him my settlement status apart from sending a copy of the BRP?
Thank you,
I was PBS dependant and just separated from my husband. So I am in low income.JB007 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 10:17 amHave you looked to see if you can have low income welfare benefits, which Universal Credit is? "Universal Credit replaces some existing benefits and tax credits for people of working age who are either out of work or working and on a low income."

That link also gives the Citizens Advice phone numbers of a dedicated service to help fist time claimants of Universal Credit: the numbers are different for each of the UK nations.
If your two dependants don't have ILR, you might want to read these two links-

It's confusing as you seem to be using your husband's account on here and he was the Tier 2 General visa holder.
Hi! Everything has been sorted. TksJB007 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 1:00 pmIt's confusing as you seem to be using your husband's account on here and he was the Tier 2 General visa holder.
Have you written in your UC journal to the DWP, that you have just obtained ILR as a dependant of your Tier 2 General visa holder husband? And that you then separated from your husband?
If you don't explain if all to the DWP properly, they won't be able to tell you what documents to send to be able to process your claim.
Your husband must also pay towards his child's upkeep.
