Tier 5 YMS - Cancelled Visa application, how long to return passport?

I have cancelled my Tier 5 YMS application as I have realised that I messed up the financial evidence part of my application. Does anyone know how long it takes for their passport to be returned to them so that they can reapply for the visa?

In addition to this, does anyone know where they actually send my passports? I was told they send it to Sydney but I have read on these forums it gets sent all the way to the UK.

I just want to cancel it all and get my passport back :(
