When to apply for ilr

Good afternoon.

Next month my wife has her ILR application due and unfortunately for the past 6 months I have been off work with work related stress. I usually earn £2400 after tax but last month this dropped to £1700 and this month I have just been told it will be 0 nil pay to £500. My wage is over 30k a year and I have worked at the company for 8 years.

I am very worried with the drop to nil pay due to the ilr application coming up, will this affect the application and is there anything I can do? I'm due back to work soon but it will not help this months payslip.

You can use your income prior before you went on sick leave or since you are employed for 8 years then Category B can also be used.

I also have £50,000 in premium bonds saved for the past 2 years.

Would it be easier to just cash this in and use this as cash saving instead? Even though its 6 weeks till application.

Hello,

Due to long term sick I have decided to use my £50,000 premium bonds savings for the cash route for spouse visa ilr.

The application will be done end of December and I wondering what I need?

Would the following be enough;

Premium bonds statement in my name showing £50,000

Premium bonds transaction history showing £50,000 has been in my bonds account for over 12 months

Bank statement at start of December showing money transferred in to my bank account from premium bonds

Bonds statement showing account now empty

Is anything else needed please?

Apologies I was only qsking a question related to my original post but just asking if it would be okay to use my cash savings as I am unsure. I wasn't aware this was not allowed. There was no malice just a person asking for some help.

Note that if there are no non-settled/British children, then require only £34,600 cash savings for ILR.

My partner entered the uk end of pctober 2016 as a spouse on 5yr route and the current brp expires in approximately 1 month.

My partner has now been in the uk for 5 years and 1 month almost.

Can my partner apply for ilr now or 28 days before the brp expires please?

Yes they can. Visa expiry date is irrelevant.
