I want to apply for ILR as a Global Talent under accelerated Route to settlement on the basis of 3 years by combining my time on Tier 2 with time on Global Talent to complete 3 years. But the only thing that I am worried is the break that I had in terms of exceptional assurance between Tier 2 visa and global talent visa. Please see below history of my visa since I got Tier 2 visa:
1. Tier 2 visa for the duration of 2 years and three months (Oct 2019 - Jan 2021); I can provide the pay-slip for 2 years and three months that I was working
2. Exceptional assurance for the duration of three months (March 2021 - May 2021). In this period I was jobless and was living in UK
3. Global Talent visa-exceptional promise route-(endorsed by the Royal Academy of Engineering) for the duration of 10 months (April 2021 – present). at the moment I am working full time for a company as a senior engineer in Newcastle upon Tyne. I have started this job since 18 OCT 2021, so can provide 3 and half month pay-slip
Do you believe that the time-period of 3 months that I was on exceptional assurance will count towards continuous residence?
