Hello everyone

i recently got my spouse visa; thanks for everyone who suppported me by answering my questions and also many thanks to this board;

Now another question here: is it possible to invite my brother who wants to do a degree in computer science while am on spouse visa? ie of course if i could provide bank statements.

Kindly advise!

You need to have obtained ILR before your can sponsor family on a student visa.

Is that right? I thought anyone can be a sponsor cos in a sense a students father etc back home would not have ILR.

I'd be more worried about the costs - not much change out of 20k pa would need to be shown and remember, a student can't work here to pay for studies.....

someone living in the UK without permanent status sponsor a brother?
