If I understand your situation correctly (she already has settled status), travel permit ( https://www.gov.uk/euss-travel-permit ) would be the right option.jayinthamel wrote: ↑Mon Mar 07, 2022 8:41 amThanks
The case is kind of similar. I guess the Euss family permit is the best option than the replacement residence card to enter the UK.
Isnt it?

She needs to apply for a Travel Permit: https://www.gov.uk/euss-travel-permitjayinthamel wrote: ↑Mon Mar 07, 2022 5:57 amHello Guys,
Situation :
My spouse is neither the EEA national nor british citizen. But she got the settled status in uk and residence card. Unfortunately , while we were on holidays back home , we notices that the residence card has been expired.
You are confusing travel document, which is the document that confirms your identity and nationality (a passport) with visa/residence card/family travel permit, which is the document that confirms your right to enter/stay in a given country. Hence, why the British Embassy say they can only issue a "travel document" (a British passport) to a British citizen. Can i make travel document from home office for my wife ? if YES , how and where to go ?
