IDV app- is it ok to Upload document on Laptop and just ID on mobile

Hi,
I have been invited to use the IDV app. I had uploaded documents on my laptop on UKVACS account and when i login to app on mobile they show in the app as documents (name and description and file as pdf etc) but cant open them on mobile, an option to delete the document is available. Is it ok to upload via laptop and if they are showing on mobile app and just verify identity through mobile?

I did the same and submitted my application without any problem.
