Citizenship application fees waiver for adults

Post by SamuelK » Mon Mar 20, 2023 8:57 pm

Good evening,

A friend of mine on UC and waiting for a disability assessment (can't work) is planing to apply for citizenship fees waiver. Do you think he's got around to do so ? And if yes which application shall he use?

Many thanks.

Sorry there are no fee waivers for naturalisation - it is a discretionary application (not immigration) so if friend is in difficulties he will have to wait until he can afford the fees.

The rule of thumb is that before you can apply for citizenship, you should already hold ILR. Everything he needs to be able to do here in the UK, he can do with ILR.

Citizenship is optional. There's no charity or freebies for optional requirements.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Good afternoon,

Where can I the right citizenship application fee waiver for an adult ?

Confusing information online. Mainly applications for under 18.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Citizenship application has no provision for fee waiver.

As advised already, there are NO fee waiver options for adult naturalisation/citizenship!
What you have read about for children's REGISTRATION is for very specific reasons and doesn't apply to adults
