Recent approval times

Post by tts90 » Tue Jul 04, 2023 9:35 pm

Hi all, I was reviewing the latest approvals and it looks like the average approval time is becoming much longer than what it used to be.

Until a few months ago it was approx:
2 months for EU/US
3 months for Non-EU
4/6 months for more complicated cases

By the looks of things it seems they are now approving much more non-EU applications quicker than what it used to be and EU application are now back at 3+ months.

I’m trying to keep my application monitored through SARs (the only and last update on my application was back in March when I submitted the application and has not been assigned/reviewed since), but has anyone got any insights ?

Can only infer on trends from timelines as forum members update their application process. No one knows the inner workings of HO.
If so long you can lodge complaint and engage your MP.

Unfortunately it's within the 6 months processing time, so no one will do anything.

From the SAR I can clearly see it hasn't been touched at all ( a part from the automatic checks carried out ). I emailed further nationality and the CCST team responded they can't provide an update as it's within the 6 month period.

That'd correct. A bit more time allowance

apparently my application was approved and it wasn’t reflected anywhere. Further Nationality just emailed me. They also added there is a backlog in sending out certificates.
