The earliest your wife can submit her FLR(M) application is 28 days before reaching 5 years of residence from the date she first arrived in the UK. She can however, apply anytime from completing the 5 years but before the expiry date on her current visa.nkhan04575 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 11, 2023 5:12 pmmy wife entered uk on 8th feb 2021 her visa expires 18th august 2023
can anyone guide me what is the best time to apply for extension .in order to secure 5 years route. is it before 28 days better or shell i take it to 10-20 days to expire visa or any suggestions
please guide many thanks
From my calculations, you wife entered the UK closer to 3 months after her visa was issued. Your wife can apply in August. You don't want to apply too early, and have a shortfall at a later date and struggle to complete the 5 years.nkhan04575 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 11, 2023 5:12 pmmy wife entered uk on 8th feb 2021 her visa expires 18th august 2023

Have you provided cohabitation evidence for last 2years?nkhan04575 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 12:37 pmthey have requested a letter
A letter from relative(s) or friend(s) confirming i or my partner lived with them for some or all of the 2 years.
i am confused it says (lived with them) it has to be friend or relative we live with or it can be other relatives not living with us ..
and can we provide one or more references please guide thanks
So get the letter from your brother. That shouldn't be difficult right? If you lived in your own house, in addition to all the utility bills, you'd still need to attach a mortgage statement.nkhan04575 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 3:25 pmi would like to add
Thank you for your question! Just to clarify, yes, I have indeed provided cohabitation evidence for the past 2 years. Currently, I am living with my brother's family all under one roof. Throughout this cohabitation period, I've consistently contributed to the bills and had bills under my name as well. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask
