B1/B2 visa processing time from Belfast Consulate

Post by snajayT » Sat Jun 01, 2024 5:24 pm

Hello folks, can anyone kindly share how long B1/B2 visa processing time took at Belfast Consulate once it was approved?

As I read somewhere in this forum, this can be dependent from one centre to another and also dependent on personal circumstances. Hence, assuming that your visa was approved in a straight forward manner from Belfast consulate, how long is it before you get your passport back?

I am trying to get a sense of when I will get my PP back so that travel plans can be arranged. I am in a very tight situation regarding my existing non-refundable tickets to another place.

Thank you for any help and ideas in advance.

If and when your visa is approved at the interview, the consular officer would tell you when to pickup your passport. You'd be given a pickup slip.
It's usually within a week from approval date, but it also largely depends on how busy they are.

It's never advisable to buy your travel ticket before obtaining your visa.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
