OCI Registration for UK Born Indian Citizen Minor

I am applying OCI card for my daughter who is born in UK and had indian passport earlier that we have surrendered.

While uploading documents on OCI website, I can see option to upload her Indian passport and option to upload UK passport. Are there any other documents that I need to upload there? Such as parents passport, marriage certificate, her british citizenship certificate, her birth certificate or passport surrender certificate?

Do i need to attest all documents while uploading them on OCI website?

I can see an option for relationship documents but that talks about birth certificates for parents / grandparents. Is it applicable for her?

Hi Snig01,

Please you need to submit and upload the below documents for minor OCI applications, no attestation needed. The below copy of documents needed to uploaded and submit at VFS when applying for OCI

1. Date of Birth certificate
2. Citizenship of Registration certificate
4. Passport copy of minor
5. Both parents passport copy
6. Marriage certificate
7. Both parents OCI card
8. Parent address proof

I am also in same situation, my baby born in uk but we applied Indian birth certificate to get the Indian passport. For OCI, can we use Indian birth certificate?

For OCI, can we use Indian birth certificate?You need both Birth certificate and Cancelled Indian passport. It may be depends upon your situation. What's your situation are you holidng India passport or British Passport?
