Renewel irp card

Hi all
i have receive an email from isd informe me that my application in final stage and should be send bank statement of me and my wife . My question is : i have already my temporary stamp 4 valide untill 10/02/2025 , if the decision for my application made before this date should i wait untill my current card become unvalide or i can renewel even it still valide ? Thanks you

I would certainly advise you to get a new card regardless of your temporary card validity.
a) you'll get a card with 4EUFAM stamp, not 4 (which allows more benefits when traveling)
b) I would very much expect that a card will be issued until a defined date that is stated on the letter (or eg for 5 years from the date of the email), so you win nothing by delaying it.

Thanks for your advice , renewel will be online as i found , so do i keep the old card or send it to isd ?

I haven't heard of a requirement to return it. Keep it in a safe place.
