Subject: Urgent Assistance Needed with Biometric Appointment

Hi there,

I'm in a bit of a strange situation regarding my settlement application. I completed the application and was directed to TLS London Gee Street, where I had booked my biometric appointment. However, when I arrived, I only brought my appointment letter and did not have my passport, which meant I couldn't provide my fingerprints.

I managed to book another appointment, but it was scheduled for the end of November, so I canceled it. Now, I can't book any new appointments because the system shows that none are available.

I've done a lot of research and found that it seems I may need to cancel my application and submit a new one to book a new fingerprint appointment. This situation is very stressful for me, especially since my BRP expires on November 6th, and I have already paid a fee of £2,880 for the application.

Could anyone please suggest what I should do? I've tried to contact TLS multiple times but have received no response.

Have you tried clearing you cookies / browser cache? Many people on reddit were reporting the same issue with the TlsContact booking system.

I believe it doesn't affect your right to stay in the UK if you have applied prior to your visa expiring.... unless you had other urgent reason for attending biometric appointment as soon as possible.

We cannot offer any help regarding TLScontact or how to book a biometrics appointment with them. TLScontact is a third-party appointment service provider which was recently appointed by the UKVI to handle the biometrics collection. So their services and capacity may be limited for now.

Also, your BRP expiry date is totally inconsequential. Section 3C applies and your lawful residence continues.

I could see there's a notice when I draft the set (O) application which shows that there's a problem on making a biometric appointment. It might be a temporary issue and will get back to the normal, hopefully.

I also need to finish and submit an application tomorrow so a bit worried about this situation.

I just realized that the TLS allows only two reschedules or cancellations of appointments. After that, they block you from making any further changes.

I think I need to withdraw my settlement application and request a refund, then resubmit it.

Can anyone help with this?

Unfortunately, I could not find any useful information from this forum. The best way is to contact them and reschedule/or make an availability for you through TLS.

Because you cannot find some relevant information on a third-party appointment provider here, instead you should contact them and ask them directly

We don't run TLS ourselves and it is a very new system - all members here are volunteers. The advice is always to try and contact the relevant service if there are issues. Hopefully TLS will issue some guidance and/or address the issues presently experienced by applicants.
