I am planning to apply for ILR application under 10 year route (long residence). I have some queries.
My wife first entered into UK on 31/01/2015. And, she is currently holding FLR (M) Spouse visa which will expire on 1 April 2025.
Her 10 years will be completed on 31/01/2025. My questions are follows:
1) Can we apply for 10 year ILR before 28 days? i.e. After 04/01/2025? Yes she can
2) Will 12 month visa held on current permission rule apply as she is already on 2 years in her current FLR (M) visa? No issue with this,
3) She is currently holding B1 English certificate from Trinity College London (passed in Nov 2019). She used it for her last visa application. Can we use this same certificate for ILR application? Yes, as it was used successfully for a previous application and provider on HO list. Or, does she need to take a new English test for ILR application?
I would appreciate your help on these.
The 10 years are now counted from the first visa issue date.10yrilrrouteuk25 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 5:45 pmHi
Thanks very much for your answers. I really appreciate it.
Finally, shall we book bio-metric appointment after 31/01/2025 to be on safe side so by that time she will complete her 10 years in UK? Or, this doesn't matter?
Please let me know.
