BRP number or share code for Schengen application form?

Post by Monserrat » Fri Jan 03, 2025 9:37 pm

Hello all.

I have an appointment with the vfs global to apply for a Schengen visa to go to Italy in February. My question is do I request a share code and then put it on the application form instead of my BRP number to prove my valid visa in uk? My current visa expires in November this year but the BRP card expired on 31st December 2024.
I am currently on a 5 year route spousal visa due to expire this year in November for my final application.

Also just to mention when I booked my appointment I filled out the online application form back in November and at the time I did put my BRP number on the online application form as it was still valid. I have to fill out a form to take with me to the appointment and I’m wondering what to put on the visa section. Has anyone come across this yet or know if this will be an issue?

Many thanks 😃
