Hi s786 according to gov website Flr fp standard guideline processing time has changed from 6 months to 12 months but theres no time limit, all depends on the complexity of the case and which route you applied under, im also similar waiting time i applied fee waiver march got accpeted august, applied for flr ,done bio and still waiting , i made a complaint and they just replied application is under consideration , I would suggest you complain using complaint email you can find online stating your concerns and stress your concerns to your local mp to contact the home offcie also on your behalf, unfortunately not much contact out there because if there was direct contact they will be piled in with emails and requests. its just a matter of a waiting game, only on very serious circumstances like a family death or medical reasons they will expedite the case quickly, this is a bit of the response i got when i made a complaint:
"It may be helpful if I explain that applications submitted on a 10-year partner, parent or private life route and also on a 5-year parent route are not currently subject to any service standards.
Our website was updated on 26 November 2024 to advise that applications on the above routes are now taking around 12 months to complete; some may take longer. Further details are available on our website at: Visa processing times: applications inside the UK - GOV.UK.
Applications are considered on their own merits, and we endeavour to consider them as quickly as possible. However, there may be circumstances which result in an extended delay in the application processing time.The timescale for making a decision is also dependent upon the nature and extent of our enquiries. Some of these enquiries are with other Government departments and external agencies to ensure that our statutory requirements have been satisfied. The extent and length of time taken to complete such enquiries varies according to the individual circumstance of each application.Because of these reasons we are unable to provide a timescale for completion, but please be assured that every endeavour is being made to conclude this application at the earliest opportunity.
Our threshold for expediting is only considered in the most serious life-threatening circumstances. We normally only accept a request to expedite an application ahead of others in situations such as where a customer needs to travel to attend a close relative’s funeral abroad, or to attend to a severely ill relative overseas who requires one-to-one care that cannot be provided by another individual. They are only granted in the most serious of cases."
so its kinda a joke that someone have to die or be seriously ill for them make a decision. so they can make a decision quick if they really wanted to but if you dont have a extreme reason they just take their time and chill out but good luck and i hope we all get a decision sooner.
But its ended well so Grateful to God...
:) after i complained to every goverment minister in England lol i got a response my application is being processed and under consideration, thats not good enough for how long do you need to think another 6 months another 12 months, just make up your mind already, but im glad the war has ended for you lol, have a good christmas and happy new year
