After British Citizenship - Can I travel with Indian Passport or not

Hello Everyone

One quick question.

After the Citizenship Ceremony on 1st May 2025, Can I travel with an Indian Passport to India ?

As I am not sure if I have a Citizenship ceremony on 1st May 2025 and applying for British Passport may take time and then getting an Indian Evisa...

I am planning to travel around 10-15th May 2025

technically yes, but you wont be able to come back to UK as you wont have British passport .. and the visa ILR becomes invalid as soon as you are registered as citizen

Best option: get the ceremony.. apply for british passport on urgent basis...a bit extra cost

Maybe delay the ceremony until after you return (contact your council).
Accelerated passport services are not available for first British passports.

I am planning to travel around 10-15th May 2025 Apply for British passport Immediately after ceremony, you will get British passport with 10 days and Evisa timeline is 24 hours
