Inquiry

Post by Samar09 » Sun May 11, 2025 6:23 pm

I contacted the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) asking a general question about a possible case involving identity fraud and immigration. I did not submit any formal report or provide official documents. Their reply said they can't guarantee an outcome and that each case is assessed individually.

I’m worried now — could they treat this as an official report even though I didn’t send more evidence or follow up?

Could there be consequences for the people I mentioned, even if I don’t contact UDI again? I’m not living in Norway.

Has anyone had a similar experience or can offer legal

Best to provide some details about this case and your immigration status - are you a UK resident?
From the few details you provided members wouldn't be able to comment.
