ILR New Rules for Skilled worker dependants

I am a British citizen via skilled worker route. My wife is still on skilled worker dependant visa and will complete 5 years in October 2025. The white paper rules mentions that the ILR qualification period for spouse visa applications will not be affected by the new rules(ILR qualification period from 5 years to 10 years).
Does this apply to skilled worker dependant of a British citizen?

The fact that you became a British citizen is irrelevant to your dependants who still have to apply under the skilled worker rules in place.
