ILR Priority Service – Delay & Dependant Question

Post by mathan_kumar » Sat Sep 27, 2025 11:01 am

Hi all,
I applied for ILR under the 5-day priority service (set O - five years route), but it’s now been over 10 working days with no decision, even after escalation. BRP collection date was 3rd September.
Has anyone faced similar delays? Should I just wait, contact UKVI again, or involve my MP?

Also, my spouse and child’s visas expire on 28 October 2025 — can I apply for their ILR now while mine is pending, or must we wait until my decision comes through?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I meant to say Bio metrics collection date on sep 3rd, not BRP.

Priority is NOT a guaranteed service. You can apply for the dependant before visa expiry. Their application will be held until yours is decided.

Thanks for your advise. That's a relief, at least I could go ahead submit their application. Also, I guess only option i got is to wait for decision? I read online about writing to MP's, but I was not sure.
