Date of first entry in UK in the spouse visa application

Post by nadirhashmi » Sat Nov 15, 2025 2:27 pm

I am applying for a spouse visa; my wife and children are British citizens. We relocated to the UK in 2021 for permanent settlement. Prior to that, we used to visit during holidays every 3-4 years.

In the spouse visa application, I am required to mention the date my children first entered the UK. Should I mention the date they entered for permanent settlement or the date they paid their first visit to the UK?
I'll appreciate any guidance/suggestion to answer this question. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Nadir

Your Children are British. Whatever date you put in there doesn't mean anything. However, in your case, it has to be the date you entered on a UK spouse visa.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
