Payslip and Bank Statement Timing for ILR SET(O) - Submitted Before Latest Documents Available

Post by hornedhippo » Wed Jan 21, 2026 7:23 pm

I submitted my ILR SET(O) application on 19th January with biometrics on 4th February. I'm confused about the document requirements.

At submission, my most recent documents were:

Payslip: 22nd December

Bank statement: 15th January

My payslips come around the 23rd-24th and statements around the 15th of each month.

Questions:
  • Is the December payslip acceptable even though it's over a month old by my biometrics date?

If I use my January payslip (arriving 24th Jan), I won't have an official February statement by 4th Feb. Would a PDF transaction history from my banking app work instead?
Has anyone dealt with this timing issue? What did your caseworker accept?

Thanks!

All digital evidence is accepted.
Until automated PAYE checks are available, applicants should provide a payslip and either a bank / building society statement or building society passbook, covering their most recent month’s pay, with their application. These documents should be dated no earlier than 31 days before the date of application. You do not need to check their records for the past 12 months unless you have concerns.

No. UKVI issues those share codes, you do not need to send them what they issue

Thanks that makes sense.
So they'll be able to check the immigration status themselves and we dont have to add any documentation for that

Correct.

That requirement on the document checklist is a legacy from the time when BRPs existed and the applicant had to submit a scanned copy of the card.
