ILR application date for GTV dependants

Hello,

I am writing to seek clarification regarding my dependant’s ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) eligibility date.

They have been in the UK since January 2020 under different visa categories. However, the most recent visa under which they intend to apply for ILR is as a dependant on a Global Talent visa.

Their Global Talent dependant visa was applied within the UK. The application was submitted on 22 April 2021, the biometric appointment took place on 20 May 2021, and the visa was approved on 21 May 2021.

Could you please clarify when they would become eligible to apply for ILR? Should the application be made at the end of March 2026 or the end of April 2026?
