Skilled worker visa for Pharmacy Technician

Post by ZackM » Wed Feb 25, 2026 7:19 pm

Hi All, I'm based in UK and I'm looking to apply for a Pharmacy Technician role. This role is applicable for healthcare visa under code 3212. However one of the requirements for this role is to have a Level 3 diploma in pharmacy which I don't have it yet but I'm on the course.

Therefore, I was wondering if I apply for Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician (PTPT) role, can this role be eligible for healthcare visa under same code 3212?

Any help would be much appreciated.

This is a question for your employer.

The PTPT is an apprenticeship programme and often these programmes are not eligible for a Health and Care or a Skilled Worker visa.

If eligible, the sponsor should be able to assign the appropriate code.
