Clarificaiton - FLR (M) Supporting Documetns.

Post by SSH4665z » Fri Mar 06, 2026 12:46 pm

Hi Team,

My wife was granted a 2.5-year spouse visa in October 2023, and we are now in a position to apply for the next 2.5-year extension. While filling out the FLR(M) online form, I am a bit confused about the supporting document requirement that must show both of our names.

We only have council tax and water bills covering the last 2.5 years.

From my understanding, we would require one more document for the same purpose as 3 document evidence from 3 different source is required - Pleae correct me if i mis-understood / incorrect.

I am thinking of using our marriage certificate for a dual purpose (to prove our legal marriage status and as proof of living at the same address), as it also covers the last 2.5 years.

Any idea or advice on whether this would be accepted?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure your marriage certs does that. what about GP letters, surely you must have that. You can also use bank letters if you have to. Letters from any source like Electricity. Ideally from 3 different sources, but if you don't have that, it is what it is.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
