ILR due date related question

Post by bashamy » Sun Apr 19, 2026 8:06 pm

My wife was issued SPOUSE/PARTNER LEAVE TO REMAIN in UK on 03-Jun-2021. Similarly on the same date, my daughter and my son got DEPENDANT LEAVE TO REMAIN.

My family was later renewed their visa. My wife was issued SPOUSE/PARTNER LEAVE TO REMAIN in UK on 23-NOV-2023. Similarly on the same date, my daughter and my son got DEPENDANT LEAVE TO REMAIN. All of them are expiring on 20-JUN-2026.

What is the earliest and safest date they can apply for ILR in UK? I checked in the internet and it suggests that 5 years from the start date (03-Jun-2021), however can apply 28 days before. Can my family apply 28 days before (i.e., 05-May-2026) in priority services (as this may lead to application decision before 5 years completion)?

They can apply within 28 days before reaching 60 months/5 years. Fi e foe them to get approval within this 28 days concession period. UKVI do know the rules!!

There is no 5 day priority service for their visa category ILR on form SET M.

Only standard or super priority is avaliable for their route
