Apply ILR on Long term residence

1. Completing 10 years on 15 Oct 2026 as entered into Uk on 16 Oct 2016 on Tier2 ICT short term.
2. Left UK on 13 Oct 2017 and entered UK again on 4Dec 2017 at new visa tier 2 ICT Long term ( applied from India)

3.renew Tier2 ICT Long term with in UK until Nov 2021

4. Applied skill route visa and valid until Dec 2026

Currently on the skill worker route and visa ending on 7 Dec 2026.

Queries:

As I gone through few posts then think that I am eligible to apply on long term residence? Please confirm.
Will the home office calculate 10 years on the date of decision or date of application submit date? Can I apply little early in July?

For long residence, you can apply 28 days before the 10th anniversary of your first entrance into the UK (which is when your residence would have started).

So you should be able to apply after 17th September this year.

UK is getting rid of 10 year ILR. Get a sponsored visa or make plans to go home.

The date of entry is no longer relevant as the rules were changed in 2024
