A student is enrolled on a PhD programme and at the end of the examination process he was awarded a M Phil degree. Now, if he applies for PSW visa would HO would have any reason to refuse the visa?

Surely that shouldn't be a problem?
Though, I'm sure a more senior member can provide more concrete advice.
