Basically, the EEA plus Switzerland.

But I do have doubt on Switzerland as one of my friends needed a work visa despite he is a Brit citizen recently(few weeks back).

Also, what about middle-east.Do we need to have work visa to work in Dubai??

The Swiss-EU/EFTA agreement includes free right of movement (under various circumstances), see here. Yes you need a work/residence permit but it is more administrative procedures i.e. you do it after moving to Switzerland.

As for the Middle East, check the individual country's embassy for details.

I'm fairly sure that you would. Usually, the "not needing a visa" part is instituted in reciprocity. I would imagine that most citizens of Middle Eastern countries would require a work visa for Britain, so I would also imagine that the same would apply in reverse.

I would check the UAE Consulate Website for further details though!
