MN1 Form & Referees

Post by lapen123 » Thu Feb 05, 2009 8:58 pm

Hi all, Sorry if I am duplicating the topic.

I have recently got the ILR and now filling up MN1 form for my daugthers BC.
My 1st query is about referees. GP or health visitor will not agree to sign the form.

Can I use my british colleague at my office & director of our company as referees? As both know me for a while now and both are professionals.

Secondly at what point I will have to pay the fee? as there is no section in the form ask for bank details.

Thanking you in advance!

Depending on the category of registration, they have no legal right to refuse even if references are not supplied.

Your colleagues should be fine.

Fee must be paid in advance.

PS you might want to change your GP, if he refuses to sign something as simple of that it is not a good professional relationship.

Thanks JAJ,

Regarding fees, I didn't find the payment section on MN1 form which I downloaded from BIA website. Do u think I have downloaded incomplete form?

Would you know which section payment details come under?

There is a separate payment slip that you can download from UKBA website.
