Post by valsad » Tue Jan 20, 2009 5:06 pm

Hi,

I am on HSMP and applying for my ILR next month at PEO. Date on my employment letter is about 3 weeks before my application date, will this be a problem. How many weeks old employment letter does HO accepts.

I can't see a problem as long as your employer can confirm your employment if visa officer chooses to enquire.

Hi aaanjoo,

thanks for the link, just to be on safe side, I have already got letter from my employer stating my position, starting date, full time - permanent and it also says my position continues. Hope this will be enough.

as mentioned I also have 2nd part-time job in supermarket and going to attach p60s and payslips of this 2nd job and asked personnel to issue me same sort of letter and waiting for it.
