ILR - Date Left from UK -Query

Date Left from UK

I m under Tier1 and will be posting the application this month.

I am in doubt and need clarification.

1. When I fill the absence section- Date Left from the UK, what date should I fill?

For eg:

Say I got the flight on 30 Nov 2004 and landed in Mumbai on 1st Dec 2004. I can see the rubber stamp in my passport done at Mumbai Airport on 1st Dec 2004. I m trying to find my absence using the rubber stamp made in my passport during my travel.

In this case, what should be the Date left from UK?

Do I need fill 30 Nov 2004 or 1st Dec 2004.

Would be helpful, if you could clarify this

2. I have absence 50 days for all 5 years and one of the absences is business trip for 10 days and remaining are short holidays

Do I need to get the letter from employer to prove my business trip and holiday to support my case?

Would be helpful, if you can clarify my doubts

1)From what I have seen in the SET(O) form, you need to put the date left from the UK. In your case it should be 30 Nov 2004 not 01 Dec 2004.

2) Since you have 50 absense days, I would suggest you put your business trip (which are included in your 50 days absense) without any letter from your employer. Even if HO consider your business trip as your holidays/vacations, you are safe as you only have 50 absense days in 5 years. From what I have seen on this board, one should have less than 225 days of absense in 5 years.
