Hello all.

Hoping somebody can answer my question.

I've applied for ILR about 2 1/2 years ago on the 14 years long residence basis and I'm still waiting. I've rang them few times and they told me that I'm not a priority case and I have to wait for my turn.

As they are planning to cancel the 14 years long residence route and If that route is withdrawn, will my application be considered void?

Application was Accepted? or you mean HO will consider the application on old rules?

I assume that the application will be considered on the criteria that were in place at the time of application?

Thank you to everybody who responded.

Also, now thinking if and when they decides to look at my ILR application and if/when granted, will I get ILR or will they be considering me as like a new arrival even though my application was submitted 2 1/2 years ago and would I have to go through the new immigration bill route " the path to citizenship" / "snakes and ladders" as its been referred to.

Now typing this its becoming more apparent that nobody will know the answer as yet.....
