Fast-track Same-day Service
In some instances, you may have to wait months for your UK visa application to be processed by the UK Home Office and still not receive approval. You may even spend the whole day there only to find that you do not have all the right documents. The following types of applications can be dealt with on the same day:
Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) | Settlement
ILR applications can be fast-tracked if you have been in the UK for:
* five years continuously in Work Permit approved employment;
* five years continuously with UK Ancestry status;
* five years continuously in a combination of Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP), Tier 1 General, or UK Work Permit stay;
* two years of continuous stay on a Spouse/Partner Visa;
* 10 years of continuous legal stay; or
* 14 years in a combination of continuous lawful/unlawful stay."
I think that you may have mis-read the second line of bullet point 3 as a new bullet point.
As far as I know, there is no same day application service for a Tier 1.
