Hello Guys,
I have recently received a COA and have given my notice of marriage (to a UK citizen). I plan to apply for a FLR(M) through their premium service. I m currently on a WP (also known as tier 2 ifi m not mistaken).
Everything was going fine, until I got a shock from my employer. I m not being made redundant at the moment, however, my employer says he will pay my wage for the month of feburary later. My appointment for FLR(M) will come before i get my feb wage. I have a few reservations:
a) Will this affect my application for the FLR(M) as I need to show my wage slips and proof of employment. while i m still employed if i present an official letter regarding that, would it help?
b) What if in a few days time, I m made redundant? Would this cause a problem too?
All my documents are in order. I have recieved salary every month for the past 3 years (i have 2 years left on my Work permit), and I plan to get married to my fiancee soon and have already applied for a FLR(M) on the 17th.... the only other problem is my fiancee is currently a student.
What are my chances in case (a) and case (b) ??
I m confused at the moment and all sorts of things are going on my head at the moment, i have booked my PEO appointment on the 17th March already and I get this news !! is it legal for an employer to do that?
