Naturalization as Spouse of British citizen

can dependent spouse apply for Naturalization soon her husband gets Naturalization Approval or should she wait until he gets British Passport?

Sorry I searched for the clue in this forum and couldn't get the clarification.

Soon as he gets naturalisation certificate. This is what confirms the acquisition of British Citizenship and not the passport.

Better to have a passport as this confirms your identity. The NCS might ask you for more ID as no picture is stamped on nationality certificate.

As per Plum70,I guess logically its sufficient if I have my spouse's Naturalization cert.
I dont mind waiting few more weeks though.

But there is no need for all to go for a passport as many of the british people might have not applied for the passport.

Any expert comments pls.
