Rejected for help by Israel, need help from another country

Post by SummerRain » Fri Mar 06, 2009 2:44 pm

Hello
I am 24 y\o Israeli citizen corrently located in Ukraine
I living threw hell really as i am abused by my father
back in Israel i could work and live, then my father invited me
to join him in Ukraine, so i did. but when i came i saw a very bad picture.
My father is a very mentaly sick person, he abuses my mother
and slowly she turnes into alcoholic, he also abuses me but i cant
do anything about it as i am not Ukranian citizen i have no rights here.
I asked my father many times to give me just enough money
so that i could go back to Israel, but he refused, and as i am not a citizen
here in Ukraine, i cant work and get my own money to buy a ticket back.
So im stuck here. I sent email to the Israeli embassy in Ukraine
as i am Israeli citizen, explaning the situation and asking for help
but they ignored me. I really dont know what to do and my life is not a life.

My only hope is to ask for help from some other goverment
i have nothing, i can get 400$ but thats itm just enough to buy a 1 way
ticket to somewhere in Europe. I have some freands in the UK
and they gave me the idea of asking for help from the UK goverment.
I think it called "sylum" or something like that.

If you can help me, with information or anything ales, please do so
as i dont think i will be able to stay in this house for much longer
i am actualy forced to run away and i dont want to end up on the streets.

Go back to Israel, what the problem? Asylum is for genuine refugees not people with family problems.

You will not be granted asylum on the basis of what you are saying.

Ok fine if you get $400, would you go to Israel or Europe because you require money for both choices.
Arrived UK in Dec 2000, Received ILR Oct 2008, Citizenship Approved March 2016.

You won't get asylum in the UK because you are bit short of cash to get home to Israel. That really is not what asylum is for.
back in Israel i could work and live
Pretty much rules you out for Asylum.

Visit your embassy and speak to someone.

Although SummerRain could be genuinely naive, it does have an element of taking the proverbial. Asylum is meant for people under genuine threat of persecution, torture or death.

In order to find the money to return home, SummerRain should get help from his own embassy or local charities.

SummerRain - you need to visit the Israeli embassy in person and speak to them about your concerns. Your aim should be to return to Israel, given that you feel that you have the right to live and work there and the opportunity to do so freely.

Asylum is for very different situations to yours and it's unlikely that the UK would accept your application for this. It sounds as though you are in avery difficult situation, which I can sympathise with, but I don't believe that political asylum is the answer here.

I can't believe people here are falling for this obviously fake posting.
Just go back and re-read the original post, and see if you can detect the contrived grammatical errors (the classic one is 'sylum'!) and the quick shifts from poor style to perfect English.

Just ignore this guy, don't waste your time.
