UK Naturalisation Process - Life in the UK document

Today, I had an appointment with croydon NCS service, and they took my original Life in the UK test certificate. Passport was however returned, and they gave back a photocopy of Life In the UK certificate.

Is that the right process because I did not check my documents when she handed back the copies, and now I see that.

Does HO sends back the original docs.

Strangely enough, they did not even bother to look at other docs as Driving License/bank statements etc as a address proof etc.

I am confused. Please if someone who had been thru this NCS process write me ?

You can request the HO to return the original certificate
However, since this is the only people who want this certificate, why do you want it back.
I was told at the NCS I used that the HO didn't need the original test certificate anymore and would take a copy via NCS so I am surprised that your NCS sent in the original

Why is it so strange that she didnt take the driving license or bank statements as address proof, the application is about residency which probably was proven via the visas through your passport. The HO can check accuracy of your addresses without your documents

I need the original doc in case my application gets turned down.... which it shoudn't - as I meet all the requirements.
