marriage

Post by ract » Wed Mar 18, 2009 11:58 pm

hi everyone,

I am Dutch and I live in UK for more than 15 years. my GF is Asian and we want to get married in UK. we applied for marriage approval certificate and it cost us £295.. I just wonder if anyone knows if we need to apply for marriage visa after getting married and pay more? or is it included in £295 that we payed for approval?

Many thanks

T

The COA is only for marriage.

After marriage, your wife may apply for a residence card for free. Alternatively, if you have permanent residence, then she may apply for FLR(M) for a fee.
