You dont need P45 if you have P60goodmans wrote:Hi,
I have 2 questions relating to ILR Application form and P45.
Question 1:
It seems like every one in the forum talking about submitting last 5 years p45s+p60s. But when I asked for p45 from my previous employers they said that they can not issue the duplicate p45 and what ever they gave me has been passed on to my new employers. And my previous employer didnt give me p45, but I have p60.
I guess p45 will be passed on to the new employers. in that case how can i get last 5 years p45's, am i wrong?
Question 2:
I am on HSMP and I am an IT contractor. Working as director for my own LTD company.
Q 9G: Highly Skilled Migrant:
Should I ticke the "If you are employed" box (as I am employee of my own LTD company)
or
"if you are self employed" box
or
both?
Regards,
G
How many jobs did you have in the time period? Unless you frequently changed jobs you should not have many P45s. If you were in employment on the last day of the financial each year in the time period, you should have exactly one P60 per year.goodmans wrote:I dont know somehow I lost all my p45s, Few were not given to me and few were lost, what is now. Is it going to cause any big problem for me.
I doubt local accountants know anything about immigration process and can give professional advice on that. Do not forget you are not submitting docs to HMRC but Home Office (or whatever it is called now) ..anandsun wrote:If you have an accountant that will make things quite easy for you!
