Tier 1 General Application - Awaiting further consideration

I applied for Tier 1 visa switching from student visa for myself, my wife & daughter (born in the UK).

I sent in my application since 8th Dec 08 and till date (9th May 09) I am yet to get a response from them.

I have called about 5 times now but have been told "awaiting further consideration". I sent a letter in Feb 09 yet no response.

Could someone advise me what to do to speed up the processing. Should i just wait? I am tried of waiting :(

hi,

I also did apply for tier 1 switching from work permit. I dont know , what is happening I applied on 18/ march/09. still, I did not get any reply . But they called my compney on 24 / apr/9. Even though they are giving result. I dont know what are they checking. I called them 2 times from two weeks, Still same answer(further consideration), I spoke to lawyer. she told that they are doing documents checking to take decision , she also said just wait and see.

I dont know what is happening, so wait and see.
