ILR Application with Speeding Offence

Post by samsoliman » Tue Jul 14, 2009 9:41 pm

Hello,

I have just got disqualified from driving for 6 months for getting 12 points on my licence "4 speeding tickets". The court that disqualified me also ordered a fine. I am supposed to apply for my Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) next year. Is this offence going to affect my application or is it going to be considered a single minor offence and will be overlooked?

Many thanks,

Sam

... sorry to say but how come 4 speeding tickets?? I know it's none of my business but I think it's high time we behave responsibly and abide by the rules of the land. Irrespective of immigration restriction, being a law abiding citizen saves a lot of stress.

Now back to your question, I don't see that affecting your application, in as much you mention it on your application form.

I know it should not have happened, but it did...

Anyway, thank you for your reply.
